Testimonials
Have a look at what our exhibitors said about PATS 2009, they have already secured their stand space for 2010. |
Helen Haddad, Director and Designer, Doggy Things ‘We are really pleased with PATS! There have been no browsers; people are visiting in order to buy. 95% of our orders were from new business contacts, mostly pet shops and groomers. PATS has been really positive - and the show build up was so easy; no hassle.’ |
Nick Franks, Director, Johnson’s Veterinary Products Ltd “PATS is a really personal, intimate show and everyone here is exhibiting on an equal footing. We have been pleasantly surprised; there were more visitors than we expected and they are all good quality visitors who genuinely want to work with us. It’s been very good; we have enjoyed PATS, so have all our customers and we’ve had lots of positive comments on Sandown Park’s accessibility and ease of parking.” |
Martyn Bee, Managing Director, Nutro UK PATS has been a really good show. We met a number of new prospects and put out Nutro’s positive message so for us, PATS has been really worthwhile. We very much like the venue and the set-up was fine; communication between the venue and our contractors was brilliant. |
Stewart Halford, Key Account Manager, Pedigree Wholesale ‘PATS has surpassed all our expectations! It’s been absolutely superb! We have received loads of new account enquiries, which is always great; Sandown Park is a great venue, all the staff are so friendly and the scale of the show is brilliant. This has been a really great first PATS.’ |
Beth Witte, Creative Director, Hemmo & Co LTD ‘PATS has been excellent! It was great to have so much positive feedback about our launch and our new collections. We have taken orders and we feel certain that those who have said they will place orders will do so soon; such has been the enthusiasm of the show’s visitors. The visitor flow has been nice and steady and the size of the show means that visitors are more relaxed and there are no panics; they can do the show in a day if they prefer. They’ve told us that there’s nothing like our products in the market; they are bright, fashionable and eye-catching. We have displayed the products at PATS as we would hope to see them in-store and the feedback we’ve received is that they are beautifully co-ordinated and that we are offering the range at extremely competitive price points. We’ve had a great mix of visitors including independent pet retailers, wholesalers and web retailers. They are all telling us the market is still busy and they are highly positive about business. The PATS marketing campaign has helped so much; there has been such good promotion of new products that visitors have seen this and have come to find us here. We are looking forward to Harrogate and we plan to come back next year.’ |
Andy Stagg, director of NT Labs, is equally enthusiastic. "We are delighted to have signed up for both Pats Exhibitions at Harrogate and Sandown Park” he says. “The venues offer a strong attraction for visitors in our Aquatic sector of the pet trade and the timing could not be better for pre and post Easter trade. We looked hard at the exhibitions we were committed to historically and asked many of the people who attended what they liked or disliked about those shows. We received a strong reply; they were tired of the venues, the lack of different exhibitors or anything exciting from the trade…The feeling of déja vu not only kills the visitors’ enthusiasm; it also makes it difficult to drum up enthusiasm from the staff manning the booth .......time to try something new and lets see what comes out of it!" |
Elizabeth Fox of Skinners Pet Foods comments: We have decided to exhibit at both PATS exhibitions because the whole ethos of a dedicated pet/aquatic trade show, with the opportunity to reach both the north and south of the country at very reasonable, all inclusive rates, seems a very attractive proposition to us as a small family-run company. The only other trade show at which we exhibit is Interzoo in Germany; but that is primarily to expand the export side of the business. |
