Coronavirus (COVID‑19) - Q&A

Coronavirus (COVID‑19) - Q&A

What social distancing measures are being put in place at the show?

All of the gangways within PATS are 3 metres wide, with the addition of directional and distanced floor-markers, enabling social distancing within the show.  There will be social distancing ambassadors on hand to assist with this.  All catering areas will have tables and chairs positioned to allow social distancing.

What additional hygiene measures will be implemented?

Additional and frequent cleaning of public areas will be carried out.  Hand sanitiser points will be positioned around the show and in registration areas, seating areas, toilets and at catering points.  There will be face masks available to everyone attending the show if they wish to wear these, or you may of course bring your own.

Will I have to queue to register?

Pre-register for PATS Telford so that when you arrive you will only need to print your badge.  There may be queues at busy times but these will be managed to ensure social distancing.

Will there be catering available at the show?

There will be catering points open at the show offering take-away food as usual, with additional and spaced tables and chairs in hall 3 at PATS.  This is new for PATS and provides much more space for seating and catering to enable social distancing.

Do we need to park at a specified distance away from other cars in the car park?

Parking in the main venue car park at PATS Telford is all free of charge as always.  There is no need to park any differently, but please be aware of social distancing when entering and leaving your vehicle.

Will you be temperature checking visitors and exhibitors?

We are following government guidelines which means we won’t be carrying out temperature checks on arrival at the show.

Are all the toilets open?

Yes they will be open with additional social distancing and cleaning measures.  Hand sanitiser will be available.
