Contractor Passes are for build-up and breakdown only. If you have appointed a contractor to dress/assist with your stand, please complete the details below:-

CONTRACTOR PASSES CAN ONLY BE ISSUED ONCE THE CDM REGULATIONS, SITE INDUCTION & COVID-19 REGULATIONS HAVE BEEN READ BY ALL STAND CONTRACTORS COMING ON-SITE FOR THE BUILD-UP/BREAKDOWN (please refer to the “Health and Safety” section in the PATS manual)

PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE READ THE HEALTH & SAFETY SECTION IN THE CONTRACTOR MANUAL BEFORE COMPLETING & RETURNING THIS FORM

1.         The Site Induction document, which can be found on the PATS website, must be read by all exhibitors at PATS prior to arriving on-site.  You must ensure ALL employees & contractors who will be on-site during the build-up and breakdown period (and require exhibitor or contractor badges) have also read the Site Induction.

2.         Nobody will be permitted access to the halls during the build-up and breakdown without their exhibitor or contractor passes.

3.         All exhibitors must ensure they have carried out a risk assessment of their stand and submitted this to the Organisers’ prior to the show if there are any significant risks identified. 

4.         All exhibitors with space only stands must submit plans and suitable risk assessments, method statements and construction phase plans no later than 25th February 2022.

5.         During the build-up and breakdown periods, when stand construction and dismantling is taking place, EVERYONE working within the hall will be required to wear high visibility clothing (this is on Friday at PATS Sandown).   High visibility clothing will not be required on the Saturday of build-up as this is the allotted time for stand dressing.

At breakdown there will be an hour for de-dressing your stand before the wearing of high visibility clothing becomes a requirement.  Please make sure you bring high visibility gilets/clothing with you for the build-up and breakdown.

6.         All visitors & exhibitors will be required to show proof of COVID-19 status on arrival at the venue. This will need to be one of the following:

- Proof of double vaccination at least two weeks prior to arrival.   You can present this certification via the NHS Covid Pass within the NHS App on your smartphone, or internationally recognised equivalent, or as a printed document or your paper vaccination card.

- Proof of negative Lateral Flow Test result taken within 48 hours of arrival, shown on an email or text.

- Proof of natural immunity shown by a positive PCR test result for COVID-19, within 180 days of PATS (including 10 day isolation following the result) via the NHS Covid Pass within the NHS App.

Wristbands will be issued on proof of COVID-19 status to facilitate entry.

7.         The wearing of face masks or suitable face coverings will be advised for all exhibitors, contractors and visitors to PATS in accordance with Covid-19 guidelines.

8.         It is the responsibility of exhibitor to ensure as far as possible the welfare and safety of everyone working on and/or visiting their stand.  Under current Covid-19 guidelines, social distancing and safe stand hygiene practices must be managed together with the advised wearing of face masks whilst on-site.  You must include these details in your risk assessment for the stand.

9.         Exhibitors must provide hand sanitiser on their stand for staff and all visitors and must ensure surfaces are cleaned with anti-bacterial spray or wipes as required throughout the show.

10.       All gangways have been increased to 3m width in accordance with Covid-19 regulations and as such gangways shall be kept clear of obstructions at all times – including during the build-up and breakdown periods. 

11.       There may be one-way systems in operation around the show in line with Covid-19 regulations.  These will be clearly marked and signed and must be adhered to by all contractors, exhibitors and visitors to enable social distancing.

12.       Any items left within the halls at breakdown, after our tenancy ends, will be disposed of and the cost for this disposal passed on to the exhibitor concerned.
