PATS supports Birmingham Dogs Home in 2025
PATS has announced that Birmingham Dogs Home will be its chosen charity for 2025.
The Pet and Aquatics Trade Show will be taking place at the NEC Birmingham for the first time from Sunday, 28th September to Tuesday, 30th September 2025.
As the chosen charity, Birmingham Dogs Home will receive donated products from the popular New Product Showcase at the end of the exhibition as well as further donations from PATS exhibitors.
Birmingham Dogs Home cares 24 hours a day, every day of the year for stray, abandoned and relinquished dogs from across the West Midlands and South Staffordshire.
The organisation has been at the forefront of animal welfare for the Midlands for almost 130 years and is one of the region’s oldest and best loved animal welfare charities.
Birmingham Dogs Home can only survive through the generosity and support of the general public and benefactors from the local community. Without donations it would be unable to carry on the vital work of rescuing and re-homing abandoned dogs.
Sophie Evans, corporate partnerships officer at Birmingham Dogs Home, said: “We are thrilled to partner with PATS, whose generous support aligns perfectly with our mission of providing compassionate care to dogs in need. This partnership is a testament to the shared commitment to animal welfare, and we are incredibly grateful for the donated products that will directly enhance the well-being of the dogs at our shelters.
“Thanks to PATS' contributions, we will be able to enrich the lives of the dogs in our care by improving their comfort and daily experiences. From cosy bedding and nutritious food to stimulating toys, these resources will make a tangible difference in their journey toward finding loving forever homes.
“At Birmingham Dogs Home, we believe that every dog deserves a second chance, and partnerships like this help us bring that vision to life.
“We hope that this collaboration will inspire other businesses to support our cause, strengthening our network of corporate partners dedicated to making a positive impact on animal welfare.”
PATS 2025 will be staged in Hall 1 of the NEC and will be able to accommodate up to 500 UK and international exhibitors.
“We have chosen Birmingham Dogs Home as our 2025 charity because of the amazing work carried out by the organisation’s dedicated team,” said PATS event director Gordon Thomas.
“As PATS will be bigger than ever next year, we’re hopeful that many more products will be donated to Birmingham Dogs Home.”
