Radley Afternoon Tea Experience

Radley Afternoon Tea Experience
South Place Hotel is hosting the Radley Afternoon Tea on 4th, 10th, 11th, 18th, 24th and 26th August and 1st September.

This Summer, South Place Hotel is inviting dog-owners who dote on their beloved pets to experience the capital’s most decadent and stylish British afternoon tea designed for both to enjoy.

Joining forces with iconic British accessories brand Radley, known for its signature Scottie dog motif, the hotel is providing an afternoon tea inspired by the brand’s NEW Autumn Winter ’19, ‘Fall in Love…’ collection. This is perfectly paired with a bespoke menu just for dogs, created by artisanal dog food brand, The Barking Bakery.

As man’s best friend has become one of the most important members of the modern family*, South Place Hotel and Radley understand that their owners aren’t the only ones with high standards and refined tastes.

Situated in the hotel’s Secret Garden, London’s most insta-worthy terrace, guests can enjoy a tasty display of classic British sandwiches before sinking their teeth into that Radley bag they have always wanted, as the hotel will be serving an array of fashionable Radley-themed cakes and treats.

‘Bake Off: The Professionals’ finalist, Nelson Barros is back where he belongs, producing five-star quality sweets. Alongside a decadent red velvet handbag inspired by Radley’s AW19 collection, sits the British Bakewell bone and the chocolate and hazelnut Scottie dog – a nod to the accessories brand’s playful side. Offering a quintessentially British experience - where even the teapots are sporting patriotic designs - the delicious snacks are certainly best in show.

Not forgetting your furry friend, The Barking Bakery has designed a bespoke menu offering the best of doggy fine-dining, producing treats made with high-quality “human-grade” ingredients to ensure owners aren’t the only ones having all the fun. To start they will be treated to freshly baked cheese biscuits, followed by low-calorie iced ‘woofins’, topped with vanilla yoghurt frosting and decorated with tasty cheese bone biscuits. A menu that even the most VIP (Very Important Pooches) will drool over!

Whether you’ve got a stylish Shar-Pei who loves to show off, or a playful Scottie who’d fit right in, make sure you book ahead to have the ‘pawfect’ day out with your best friend from £55 (or £45 without the dog supplement).

The Radley X South Place Hotel’s Afternoon Tea will be hosted on select Saturdays and Sundays throughout August, to purchase tickets and find out more information, click here.

We all deserve a little extra treat every once in a while, so if you and your favourite canine are due some much-needed TLC, why not extend your visit and relax after tea in one of South Place Hotel’s plush animal-friendly rooms, complete with luxurious king-size dog bed.
