What's happening at PATS

PATS is exceptionally well organised, easy to navigate and very professionally executed. It provides a perfect opportunity for us to see new products coming to market, and to engage with existing and new suppliers

It’s our first year here and to be honest we are very impressed. We like the huge variety of products on view and the New Products Showcase is particularly impressive. The items are displayed well and it’s easy to have a good look at them all and decide which we would like to find out more about

We’ve been coming to PATS for more than 12 years and it’s really interesting to see how the pet industry has been changing and improving. When we first started coming there were a lot of big multinationals, but now there are more independents with great quality products, which gives shops like ours an opportunity to make ourselves a bit different. We also love catching up with everyone and seeing people we might only see at PATS but who have become like friends over the years. It’s always great to be here

The show is fantastic. Everybody is really approachable and supportive. And the range of products is ridiculous – in a good way

It’s our first time at PATS because we launched in April and are now looking to expand. It’s been really useful coming here and we’ve seen quite a lot of new stuff that we’re now looking to stock in line with the working dog theme of our company

We’ve come to PATS for the whole three days because you just can’t do it justice in only two. For us, as we deal with the whole spectrum of the pet industry, we spend day one wandering through the halls to see what catches our eye and day two doing our buying – but we’ve found that by the end of the second day we haven’t always got round to everyone. So the third day is a real bonus. There is less of a rush to get it all done and we can spend more time building relationships and ensuring we’ve caught all the deals and found all the new products we might want to stock. PATS is an important highlight of the year and we wouldn’t want to miss any of it!

I think it’s a great idea to add a third day to PATS. We’re here for all three days, giving us enough time to meet everyone and make informed decisions about stocking new products. We also like PATS because of all the networking opportunities

We’ve missed going to Aqua so we’re really happy to be visiting the Aquatics Zone at PATS. We’ve come to see the new products, find out about deals on offer and meet people face to face. It’s also a great opportunity for networking with other shops and companies and building new relationships – something we have missed out on during the Covid years.

The show is obviously bigger than last year and it’s been great seeing people from then. We caught up with new and current suppliers and searched for anything new and innovative that we could bring to the store

Spending more than one day at PATS is well worthwhile. It gives me enough time to make informed decisions on the products I want to stock in my shop. I like to enjoy the atmosphere, soak it all in, and meet other people in the industry

Getting to the show in future will certainly be easier for me, and for many others, I expect, when it moves to the NEC. It’s important to attend an exhibition like PATS, and any initiative that makes the process less stressful is very welcome

PATS is a fun friendly show and a great place to do business. I will definitely attend next year’s show
